2023 WASSCE Private (NOVDEC) Registration Deadline Extended to Oct 28

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has recently announced an extension for the registration deadline of the 2023 WASSCE for Private candidates. Originally scheduled to end on July 27, 2023, the registration period has now been extended until Saturday, October 28, 2023. This decision comes as a relief to many students who may have missed the initial deadline or encountered difficulties in the registration process.

According to a recent communique obtained by InfoScoope, the organization responsible for conducting the 2023 WASSCE for Private Candidates has announced an extension of the registration deadline. This decision has been taken in order to accommodate a larger number of students who wish to enroll for this national examination.

“WAEC wishes to inform the general public that the closing date for registration of candidates for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates has been extended to October 29, 2023"

By extending the registration period, the organization aims to ensure that all interested candidates have ample time to complete the necessary procedures and be part of this important educational milestone. This move demonstrates the organization’s commitment to inclusivity and providing equal opportunities for all students in their pursuit of academic excellence.

The WAEC aims to provide equal opportunities for all candidates to participate in the examination, and I’m sure this extension allows for greater inclusivity and flexibility.

So from now until the 28th of October, you can visit their nearest cafe in order to register for exams online. After completing the registration process, payment can be made at the bank. It is important to note that only regional capitals can be selected as examination centers, as stated by the African Examinations Council in their recent press statement.
